Terms of Service

The rules for using Plateplan, subscriptions, household content and digital delivery.

Last updated 21 July 2026
01

Service and eligibility

Plateplan is online-only online weekly meal-planning software. It produces weekly meal ideas, aisle-grouped lists, prep sequences, illustrative visuals and prep films. It does not sell food, place grocery orders, deliver ingredients or take payment on behalf of a supermarket.

Users must be at least 13. Users aged 13–17 need a parent or guardian's permission. The account holder is responsible for accurate account information and activity under the account.

02

Not professional advice

Meal ideas only — not nutritional or medical advice. Check every ingredient and finished-product label for allergens.

Plateplan does not guarantee that a meal is free from an allergen. People with severe allergies or medical diets should consult a qualified doctor or registered dietitian and follow official food-safety guidance.

Never use an output as a nutrition prescription or as guidance for a disease, pregnancy, infant feeding, severe allergy, coeliac disease, diabetes or another medical diet without confirmation from an appropriately qualified professional.

03

Subscriptions and USD billing

Taste includes two weekly plans and one watermarked list card per month, without video. Family is $14 per month or $134 per year. Batch Studio is $49 per month or $470 per year. Prices are USD. Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled.

Allowances apply within the current billing period, have no cash value and do not roll over. Plateplan does not sell stored value or additional credit packs. Tax can be added where legally required.

04

Checkout and cancellation

A payment provider hosts checkout and processes payment credentials. Users can cancel through the subscription management portal or contact support. Cancellation stops renewal; access continues until the paid period ends unless law or an account remedy requires otherwise.

05

User responsibilities

Users must check ingredient and finished-product labels, assess cross-contamination risk, follow official storage, chilling, reheating and raw-food guidance, and verify prices and availability. Users must not submit another person's sensitive data without permission.

06

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted generation or identical outputs. We may change functions to maintain security, lawfulness and performance. Material subscription changes will be communicated before they take effect where required.

07

Liability and consumer rights

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, Plateplan is not responsible for decisions made without the required allergen, food-safety or professional checks, or for supermarket availability and price changes.

08

Law and contact

These terms are governed by England and Wales. Mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring a claim in a home jurisdiction remain unaffected.
